Can you get a paint job over rust? or would it be better to get a new body panel

You could, but it will come back very quickly so not really worth it. All rust needs treated or removed.

It would become a very expensive paint job, since you would have to have it redone every few months  :wink:

As said, it needs to be treated treated, or COMPLETELY removed.
