Title: What sensor/ plug is this?

I noticed this the other day.. It didnt have a plug on it. Anyone have any idea if its meant to?

its a pressure sensor for the power steering, looks like you've had a replacement used pump from a beetle or something.. i don't think i've ever seen a mk4 golf with one.
