Title: Duel mass question

How can you tell if its on its way out?
How long do they last changes mine 40k ago.
I have a solid clutch SRE so when I turn car off I always have had the horrid rattle sound.

If I have my car at 3k revs neutral and hold clutch down then slowly raise it the noise is horrid and vibration is this normal?

they usually vibrate when getting your toe down and make a grumbling sound. theres load of youtube videos showing you. theres no real time frame on them, mines been vibrating for about a year or so. i just need to get around to swapping it, ive got a new kit sitting in my room for one!
