Title: Clear rubber tube - what is this?
Post by: andrewparker on 10 July 2014, 17:07
Hi all, I was having a poke around my GTD this afternoon and noticed a clear rubber tube hanging down behind the rear drivers side wheel. Does anyone know what it is for? I can pull on it and it appears to be hanging loosely from higher up on the car.

Could it be the drain tube for the fuel filler?

Yep, it's the drain tube for around the fuel cap. If you open the flap you'll see the hole where the water runs, the pipe directs it out away from inside body panels.
