Title: Help !

I changed my heater matrix last weekend due to leaking after I changed it I run the car up with the heater on full blast to bleed the system the heater got warm as I was hoping. Today I went to use the heater and no warm air so checked the water level that was ok so now I have ran out of ideas so need some from you guys.

Do you still have the bypass valve fitted?

Yep there still there the heater worked before I change the heater matrix so not sure what's happened

If you changed it to the beefier mk3 item then it should be able to cope with the higher pressure  so the bypass valve can come out.

If you've fitted a new matrix then like said, the bypass valves can come out. Check the pipes from the engine bay to the matrix are hot. Bleed the coolant system again with cabin vents on hot. While bleeding it make sure that the fan kicks in and the thermostat opens - keep an eye on the coolant level in the reservoir as well. Then take the car out for a good drive and recheck the coolant level after
