Title: BBS Pescara (edition 30 wheels) (how to check if genuine)
Post by: Dipesh2031 on 05 July 2014, 12:23
Hi,

I'm looking at a set of BBS pescara for the mk6 but I don't know how much I should pay, what would you guys pay for a good refurbed set with Michelin PS3's brand new

Also how do I check if they are genuine?

The BBS stamp is always opposite the tyre valve on gen wheels.

If it's genuine VW Pescaras then do a quick google search of the VW part number and it will be stamped on the inside of the wheel.
Reps will generally be 8" wide and have ET45 offset anyway, unless there really are reps that close to Pescaras.

They don't look very good on mk6's anyway, the offset is too high and they look small in the arches, plus the spoke design suits mk5's better.
BBS CK's look far better on a mk6 in my humble opinion.

Yeah, I had a look I don't think they'll suit the car, I'm just going to save for some O.Z ultraleggeras
