Title: New to the Forum

Hi Everyone

I am new to this (and any other) forum so please forgive me if I get it wrong.  I have just taken delivery of a new Mk 7 GTI and I love it.  This is my return to a GTI since we had children.  I gave up my Mk 2 GTI 16V when number 1 son was born and bought a load lugging Volvo.  Two more sons and 20 years later, my family transport duties are now reducing to the point where I can once more return to driving a GTI.  Happy days.

The spec of my car:
5 Door, manual, limestone grey, Powerpack, adaptive dampers, Discover Pro Nav and winter pack.
My only regret is not adding the reversing camera.

I am a Brit living and working in Germany.  I have no real issues yet but look forward to discussing ideas with like minded lovers of the marque in the future.

Don't get bent if you get your chain pulled, lots of chain pullers here!
I work in Germany about  one week a month, Freiburg/BF.
Where are you?
