Looking for some tips for a mate.
His Crankcase breather hose is a total mess, and VW canceled it. So does anyone have a tip of what he could do? or is there even aftermarket ones?
Any help is much appreciated

The problem is the hose is different size each end, otherwise you could use any bit of hose knocking around,i ended up making a reducer out of steel fitted between two different size pipes, got rid of that nasty smell

Get a piece of rubber hose that will fits the breather filter box, find a piece of steel pipe that fits in the rubber hose, you will need to put a bend in the smaller steel pipe,do the same again from the engine block side find a piece of rubber hose to fit the block breather outlet and then a short piece of steel pipe to fit in that rubber hose, cut everything to length and weld the two steel pipes together, hope that makes sense

Don't think they will work sizewise, you need to get the old pipe off and replicate the length ,shape and size if you cant get a oe replacement

New turns in this, they might have sorted the hose from do88 but they need to know the connecting dimensions, both ends?
They said they could make one, they just needed that
So anyone who has that, or can provide me with that?
