Post by: SI74 on 30 June 2014, 14:43
Would like to hear what other people have as the product they use the most and wouldn't go without in there detailing kit. I might be missing a wonder product lol

Only one please.

Any other reviews mate? Looks good.

I never trust clips like that as you don't know what's been done before hand. It's like the man at the shows with the bonnet that's been waxed 100 that day. lol

Dodo Juice Time To Dry works the same as the AG Autogloss Rinse.  However, whilst the water sheets great, cutting drying time considerably, the trade off is that, unless you've just waxed it, you don't get proper beading when it rains.  For me the beading is more important than the quick drying.

Still trying to decide on my one favourite product but probably wax.  Don't use it every week obviously but wouldn't not be without it.  A car without wax is sacrilege to me.

I tried it on my neighbours Renault Twingo. He washes it every week, but hasn't polished or waxed it in 3 years. We were amazed at how well it looked after using it. The shine only lasted a few days of course, but the way it aids drying is very good. Used on well waxed cars it has the benefit of aiding drying, therefore reducing the need for contact.

It's cheap too. I but it from a trade supplier, but it can be bought off ebay for around £25 delivered. That's for 5 litres that you dilute down 1:100. That equates to over 1000 applications.

Duragloss 901/902. Had tried numerous car shampoo inc. Born to be mild, Zymol, Swissvax, Poorboy. Meguair gold. No thing beats this shampoos for VFM, good cleaning ability (Even dirty wheels) and ability not to strip out the wax I applied weeks ago! It also smell nice as well!

A good clay bar for me. I love the look on people's faces when they don't know what it does and then they feel the before and after

As for a specific product I love Gtechniq C2v3 although I've just bought some Sonax BSD to try out but haven't had a chance yet

My spray on wet wax, not sure on the brand a got a big tub of it that you dilute

Such a good product, easy as to use,  sprays on like water and yiu just buff it up. Needs two coats on the car to get a good layer on but it's very quick so it's ok. Beads very nicely,  smells good and it's lasted ages

Will have a look for what brand it is

So many products to choose from!  I would say AS Tardis.  Simply because I used it on a family members white car at the weekend which had not been washed in over a year and the results were unreal!

I wouldn't be without my snow foam. I don't think it does as much as people like to think but I just love using it. I make a right mess and I love it. Oh yeah and I couldn't be without my DA polisher. They break the product down so perfectly that I wouldn't hand polish a car again.

At the moment I am sure it would be my dragons breath and snow foam but once I have my DA i am sure that will knock the snow foam down the list!

Autoglym Fast Glass. Does lots of things without smearing. Great for instant removal of bird crap too. Just need to remember to re apply polish afterwards
