ive a 2.0 golf with the standard twin exhaust does anyone know what exhaust I could buy just fancy updating it a bit appreciate the advice guys tbh I dont know to much about it

expensive but milltek are a pretty decent performance exhaust , for noise you can fit a tdi centre section which has no silencer and just a matter of cutting of the standard backbox and clamp on a sports box

You're not going to get anything regarding performance so go for a cheaper, maybe 2nd hand exhaust. Save your pennies for other stuffs :smiley:

If you look around the forums you'll find someone stripping a gti that'll have an exhaust on. I got my milltek second hand a year or so ago for about £100.

As Chris has said its all down to what you want, if I were you I would wait until the current one needs replacing before you do anything anyway, and then it all comes down to preference. Your starting with a car that is very hard to get a few extra horses out of anyway so just replace as and when things go wrong with the original parts because itll cost you the same / more for oem replacements than uprated parts

thats for the advise and guidance much appreciated ill take it on board maybe should wait until it needs replacing
