Bought VWR lowering springs for my GTI and putting them to a mechanic as a homer to fit, do the VW Racing springs require the Geometry realigned or are they okay just left? also i have been running the car on V-power since buying it and want to know if any other GTI owners think it is necessary to run on V-power or am i just wasting my cash? cheers

Any changes to the suspension set-up will require a 4 wheel alignment.
If you look in the filler cap flap it says that the car will run fine on RON95 - but many people will swear that 99 or higher is better, normally based on their own preconceptions or limited professional testing on other cars.
Why would VW specify 95 if the car runs better on higher RON - having said that I have always run mine on Tesco 99.

It's worth reading the manual basically it states anything greater than 95RON is a waste of time. There are no performance or mpg improvements.
