Which model of a Mk2 Golf might help. If it's a 16V then I might be able to assist with a breather.

Andy that was an example of trying to work out what part you needed I'm afraid my pictures are there for reference and not for sale but which pipe in the picture are you looking at in the box?
Go to ebay and type breather pipe golf Mk2 16v you might find it there?

If its number five go to google image and type 027103217G

This is good not cheap but better than OEM

Okay we are talking about 027 103 217 D crank case breather hose pipe!
It is obsolete, but the Ebay link one Should work by (SFS)  alternative is the same part number with F on the end for Scirocco look same?

WOW the cheapest I can get it is £90.00!!!! That SFS ebay link @ £99 seems like a bargain as its got three more vented pipes non?

Well all I can suggest to you is make one or fix the one that's broken with sealing tape and copper tubing if you have to join or cut out broken pipe work.
Sorry if its obsolete they will be thin on the ground but getting something similar and modding it  to fit might be the only cheapest option?

The crankcase breather from a mk3 8v looks similar. Try looking for ones of another car.
