Welcome to the forum matey. I have a pipercross filter which I think is pretty good and can highly recommend the VWR springs which lowers by 25mm. I've found that it also improves the OEM ride.

thanks mate :) would u recommend panel filter over standard filter and over induction kit? are you riding on the VWR springs? heard alot about them but not actually seen any pics of them on a car yet haha

I would personally have the panel filter as I don't want any induction noise. Yes I do have the VWR springs and there are pictures on the site if you do a search

does the panel filter give any sort of increase in noise atall?

Welcome to the forum, I have just bought a VW Racing panel filter for my Mk7 Gti PP but still to fit it, also a DTUK FSR Tuning box which is awsome....
