Title: Creaking coilovers
Post by: benmanc on 25 June 2014, 20:24
Searched everywhere but cant find an answer.

Got some fk ak coilovers put on the other day and they are creaking when turning the wheel.

I have it at the highest setting right now.

New bearings and top mounts.

Is it normal? Is it be because they are highest setting or need settling in or something?

Cheap coilovers did the same on my MK3, I greased them up and it stopped it for a bit but it always came back.

Could it be because they are wound all the way up?

And bottom spring on fronts is really compressed to the max?
