Title: Mk4 Golf Gti AGU not boosting
Post by: nealy1572 on 23 June 2014, 21:13: I. Sorry if been asked before but my 2000 mk4 *AGU not boosting ive changed 3 split pipes
Ive had codes read and say coolant temp sensor
Would this cause issue im getting sensor at weekend
Any help or info or anybody local to leeds 9.to come and give there view would be appreciated

Post by: Gti_Jamo on 24 June 2014, 00:16: Yes more than likely. Is the problem temperature related? Like is it boosting fine when cold? They are a common failure and if the ecu is getting a bad signal it will go into limp mode with reduced boost.

Post by: Wazzzer on 25 June 2014, 19:51: you need to do some logs really, find someone in your area with VAG COM and go for a blast as it might show something

Post by: james2 on 28 June 2014, 19:23: I would get a second hand turbo from scrapyard ,the ko3s and have it mapped. You will get more power than the agu turbo. :whistle:
