Title: top front corner of wing extremely hot.
Post by: Snoopy on 18 June 2014, 17:55
Front corner of the wings above the lights. The triangle pointy bit. Do yours get very hot to the point you cannot touch them after a normal drive?

Just checked mine this morning after a 40min drive in sunny weather.  Gets very warm but not hot, can comfortably touch it.

Thank you for doing that.

Im now Wonder if mine are getting hotter due to trapped hot air by having a full bottom engine cover on.

Ive noticed a mates GTD was slightly warmer than my hand but mine hot.

Now wondering why that part gets hot and not elsewere?

An engine cover would likely help trap hot air.

Just got back from a forty minute drive at 50-60 average and found my driver side wing at the front quite warm and the other side cool. Does anyone know why?

Don't know, but when I checked mine yesterday both driver and passenger sides were about the same heat.

It's odd because I don't know if it's always happend or just because I read this thread and then checked.

Mine has always been like that, driver's side always hotter. Would be interested in an explanation.
