Title: Fed up.... Buy new car or fix the one I have
Post by: Scottymk4 on 15 June 2014, 13:53
Ok so here's the dilemma, already spent a few quid fixing stuff, now need to replace alloys as ones badly buckled (hoping this is what's causing vibration). Do I just sell it as is and buy a new car which will be another mk4 or buy new alloys and then possibly have to spend more if this ain't the cause of the vibration.....

Get some cheap wheels for now and go from there. You can always sell them again

I did Barry, chameleon said it was straight but tyre was gubbed so got the tyre changed and when I was doing that asked the guy to swap drivers side wheels over and he said back one really badly buckled and bulging in the inside.. He thinks this is causing the issue now
