Looking at doing an engine conversion on my 2000 reg golf 1.8t Gti. Just wondering if anyone has done this or knows of any major problems i may run into? Any info will be much appreciated, thanks

So you're taking out one 1.8T and replacing it with another? Why?

at a guess because the seat leon engine is slightly more powerfull and has a 6sp box.

better off spending your money on a map/turbo etc will see more power and be easier...

I'm changing it because it has less miles, 6 speed box and more horses. Anyone done this conversion before?
