Title: Sunroof issue?

Hi, I've just bought my 1st VW and it's a 99 Golf GT TDI 110. 

The sunroof doesn't work... there is no noise what so ever when I turn the dial from the motor or the relay. I've searched all over this forum but couldn't find a fix. All electrics work as they should. Any ideas?

Most likely to be a knackered motor by the sound of it

hi my sun roof has a mind of its own it opens by its self I have disconnected  it, as I cant use the sunroof any way as it leaks
