-
Lol no
-
I actually meant 19's .... Sorry
-
Yeah it will look like its on stilts
-
On 19's you mean?
-
It will look ridiculous. It's also worth bearing in mind that offset and width will affect it as well.
-
Thanks guys, one of my alloys is buckled so just seeing what to replace with... Guess 19's r out then so look for some 17 or 18s. 5*100 et35 is correct yeah?

That's a bit sh@t then,I put 18s on mine and going from 16s you can feel so much more on the road ,not sure if it's the low profile tyres or I'm just getting old to quick lmao
-
Will it be ok to stick my spare on ? It's 205/55/16 I think and ones on just now are 215/45/17

I was going to ask about this actually as I know a lot of mk4 owners run with 18's but wanted to know what the ride was like?
Obviously they'll look better than my current 16" Montreals but is the jump up in size day and night in terms of comfort which i must confess to be revelling in after my abundance of mk3's?
p.s. Im miserable fussy old b@stard so these things are important.
-
Tbh mate hasn't been that bad so far ,just noticed a little dip in the road a hell of a lot more lol
And I've only driven about 30 miles since changing them

my mk4 I got 18" with 35 profile tyres on jom coilovers ride is lovely just feels tight and together - safer infact compared to the old suspension going round corners but i woudnt say stiff but i have only used original bushes nothing poly
-
At a loss now, wheels are straight..garage says its the wheel as all ok underneath... anyone have any ideas?
-
Distorted tyre?
-
Thats what the wheel guy says, mechanic says the tyre has run out?
