Title: MK4 GTI start off

I just went and bought a 16v MK4 GTi Golf, for it being my second car and not bring much of a mechanic myself, so i was wondering wha sort of modifications could i do to get easy bhp without engine upgrading? i know i can chip it, induction kit and exhaust system but if there is anything more i can do them any help would be appreciated!!

what year is your car? they never made a 16v mk4 GTI only 1.8 20v, 1.8 20v turbo and 2.0 8v

It could be a 1.6 16v with GTI badges :grin:
