Title: vw badge restore

Has anyone restored their vw badges? Rear badge has little black spots all over it and these will not wash or polish out.
Has anyone used any chrome spray paint with any luck as I've read all kinds of reviews but nothing conclusive?!

For a Mk4? just buy a new one, not worth the hassle

Yeah be cheaper to just buy one from eBay
