HELLO IVE JUST BOUGHT A J REGISTRATION 2LTR GOLF GTI AND WANT TO MAKE IT FAST. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST EXHAUST TO GET?
-
An exhaust won't make it quick, if you want a quick car then you bought one with the wrong engine.
To answer your question though, I run a Milltek and have no complaints.
-
yeah i know it wont make it go quick but its on its way out andwant a good one. thanks for the advice.

You could also look at Jetex or getting a custom system made.

If it's J-reg Golf, that makes it a Mk3. In which case it's either the 2.0 8v engine or the 2.0 16v engine.
If it's a 2001 year Golf then it will be a Mk4 Golf, in which case it's only a 2.0 8v engine in a heavier car and it's unlikely you'll get much more power out of it.
So, is it J-reg or a 2001 reg ? Or a 2001 car with a private J reg plate on it?

Or a 2001 car with the first digit being 'J'.
Still confuses people.
