Title: Mk2 - Painting the black plastic trim metallic black?
Post by: spirez on 06 September 2005, 19:31
I personally dont like colour coded bumpers and arches on the mk2 but has anyone painted them metallic black? I thought it might look ok as opposed to having them in just black plastic but i'm not too sure

I think it brings the car up to modern standards and makes it look brand new. I get allot of comments on my car looking new and deffo not 15 years old. However i still like the unpainted look as it breaks up the look of the car.

It's a bit different on a black car though

I was wondering what it would look like on a silver, red or monza car etc?

Cheers though
