Im thinking about changing the antiroll bar to a thicker one. Now my engine is AGG (8V) and i believe that this has a 18mm antiroll bar? Which would be a better one? Say in future i do an engine convo to a vr. So need to take in mind the vr being heavier and leaning alot forward.
also if anyone has one for sale please pm me.

Cheers for that link. I need just the front 1

Get some new forged drop links as well, don't want them snapping with the extra load

you taking the p1ss? What are you saying that im a fat f*cker??
the parts that i have replaced should be good for a vr. If they do snap then i will replace with vr parts.
All of the front suspension area is virtually new. I replaced them with good quality parts. I have 3 folders FULL of paper work for the car. Over 8 years of owning it.

Nowt wrong with being big boned....
Seriously though the stiffer arb will pop weak drop links very quickly.
By forged I mean not the welded ones ecp and gsf supply. Delphi do a solid link for under a score.
VR does not mean quality, most of the time its the same as agg.
I fitted a new arb and one link snapped and split the boot.
Fixed that and lost the other in a week, new boot etc.
Both links were less than a couple of years old.
Just passing on a lesson I learned

yeah like you say big boned lol
i have delphi drop links fitted to my car.
do they look like normal drop links or different?

Just a front isn't advisable on a front wheel drive car as it will increase understeer. You want a matched pair or at least an uprated rear.
-
So to improve the cornering can i just upgrade the rear one?
-
Yes, they're also a sh!t load easier to install as well.
-
Just get the Eibach set front and rear as they only come in a pair and they are top notch so I hear. I will be doing mine soon. £304 well spent
