Hi everyone, I'm new to the whole forums thing but I've been driving VW's since I starting driving 4 years ago, I've recently got my hands on a very clean mkII 1.3 to start as a project :) the shell is immaculately clean with no rust but the engine's pretty much dead or at least nearly there (head gasket, leaking rad etc..) It was my intention before I bought it that I was going to do an engine swap and I want to put a 1.8 gti into it, so here's where my question starts... This will be my first time taking on a task like this so I just need to know the list of EVERYTHING I will need to carry it out (obviously the engine and gearbox). If anyone would mind writing out a list of all the things I will need for the conversion then I would be very greatful, thanks for reading :)
