Title: black vw emblem

Hi guys when did the black vw emblem start and stop as I notice some have silver and some black on the mk2

Some models, like Ryders, had chrome VW badges. Most likely others as well, but GTI's, certainly from '88, all had black. On those models it just looks ''right''.
