Title: Golf Gti 180 whistling noise

Hi. New to forum sorry if this post is in wrong place lol. Anyways I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I was driving my mk4 Gti 180 yesterday and noticed it's now starting to make a loud whistling noise. It does it on accelerating, seems to lack power when the noise kicks in. The car is completely stock. Just had the water pump changed literally 2 weeks ago. I mention this because It could have something to do with it? boost leak I think check all the boost pipes and silicone ones

I had the same noise in my auq but it never lost power. Until the engine blew  :grin:
