Most I've managed is 450 miles and that was an extremely boring weeks worth of driving. On average I manage just over 400 miles

With around 12000 miles on the clock and warmer weather, my mpg is slowly climbing. On my last tank I filled up with 530 miles driven and the fuel warning light yet to come on.

My first tank done and dusted. I managed 456 miles, Computer says I did an av. of 45.7mpg. I'm happy with that, anything over 40mpg I'm happy with. My long term is 41.2mpg. I wasn't hanging around, have been enjoying the new found torque of the GTD. I reckon I could easily get 500 miles to a tank after a few more tank fuels  :smug:

Just finished my first tankful and got bang on 50.0 mpg out of it -around 460 miles before the warning light came on.

My record in my mk4 GTI tdi is 661 on a jaunt down the country which I expect to beat at some point.

One thing that bugs me about the ACC though, I've been using it to try and stick to a constant speed but don't like it braking when going downhill...

Managed 576. I'm only on 1500 miles. That was going from Glasgow------> Liverpool ------> Glasgow and letting ACC doing its stuff for more or less all of the journey.

That was also with the fuel light on and then running it another 20 miles or so, only because I was out in the middle of nowhere. I then managed to get 50.41 Litres into it.

Im up to 30K miles now and have seen a massive improvement in MPG and also performance in the last 10-15K - although i have a very heavy rightfoot and enjoy the car so much. I usually get about 370miles a tank  and usually fill up at Tesco
Ive been using BP a lot more recently and break 400 everytime?!, but back to 370 with Tesco same driving style. It doesnt make a diff at BP whether normal or premium, but do notice a improvement in performance from an empty tank filled with premium, without a doubt.

476 with 2600 on the clock.

Took 44 litres so I probably could have done another 50 miles or so.

Brimmed to the top and with a combination of cruising and kicking its arse I will get a 425 range easily - 20k on the clock.

I have to say it uses more oil than I was expecting I've had the oil light come on twice, it also had its first oil service last weekend.
