Title: intercooler cleaning question

hi just wondering if the intercoolers insides can be cleaned as my boost pipes have a oily residue on them

Yup. Good blast with the pressure washer can do the trick

Id recommend removing from the car first though and drying it thoroughly before refitting  :wink:

Unless you're going for stage 2 power then I wouldn't bother.

It really does depend on the power you are going for, a stage 1 map will work fine with your standard SMIC. That kit will need your bumper to be cut in order to fit it.

I used Petrol to clean my Intercooler when the turbo went.
