Title: Splutter

Evening people

My 1.8t Aug has started holding back and in 2nd and 3rd at about 1500 revs it splutters if I put my foot down is goes it's only when I'm driving around town motor way are fine it boosts fine and twice it cut out at traffic lights didn't even notice starts straight away

 any ideas it's pissing me off

+1, I had a similar issue recently and it turned out to be the crankshaft sensor, showed as a G28 fault code I think
