I've managed to borrow a snap on diagnostic machine tomorrow , I'll just need to figure out how to use it

Thanks for the offers for the vag diagnostic. The snap on one worked ok and I've replaced the coil pack today and I think I'll replace the other 3 for piece of mind. Ps as a step for a hint don't read posts on American forums regarding cylinder numbers as they said number 1 was passenger side and I never noticed it has an American forum so it through me off a bit  :whistle:
