I'm in need of desperate help.
For the past week or so my battery has been dying weather of not I drive short or long distances.
Since this has been happening, I have noticed a sqeeling noise coming from the engine which does not happen on idling but when driving.
Could my alternator belt be slipping as I have a leak and have noticed oil around that area.

Does the battery warning light come on? That will show an alternator fault/belt slipping.

Just had it checked, and the battery is at fault.

The squealing will be a faulty belt as well
