Title: Are mk6 wing mirrors the same as mk7?

Smashed my wing mirror on my mk7 :cry:
I know VW will take my legs for one, thought maybe a mk6 one could do the job?

I phoned VW £24 for the indicator and £44 for the cover (not painted)
