I have some oil in spark plugs and been told need new rocker cover gaskets... Question is is this an easy DIY job or better left to the garage? How much do you think it would cost from a garage
-
Anyone?
-
should take you 30-45mins if you have the right tools
-
What tools do I need Barry and is it an easy enough job to do?
-
Not a hard job. You need to take the inlet manifold off and then the rocker cover (just from top of my head)
-
no need to take inlet manifold off I used this vid it has 3 parts to it my car is a agu

As above, no need to remove inlet. It's not a difficult job, just follow the guides online and you'll be fine, there are no special tools needed.
It's the inner gasket that will be causing the oil in the plenum so make sure you replace that one as well.

I need to do mine, because it is leaking out the back and into number 4 spark plug hole. Do not worry about a torque wrench. Only bolts i torque up are wheel bolts and cylinder head bolts. :smug:
