I read everywhere how ats cups don't fit over 280 brakes, however some people say they have got them on but haven't said how exactly.
What's the way to do it? On my cups I can't work out the offset as the paint has turned it into e2 (blob) which could be an 8 or 0. I would rather not grind the calliper but also don't want to have to space the front very far. Is there a good middle ground (5mm spacer and light grind?) or tactic that works?

Most CUPS are 15x7 and will fit over 280mm brakes with spacers. Use a tape to measure the offset manually. They're usually ET28 iirc but you might also have some that are staggered.
I'm running the rarer 15x8' CUPS and have ET28 up front and ET20 on the rears ;)

After more digging I found out that they fit with 8mm spacers. I decided to get 5mm hubcentric spacers and will shave a small amount off the callipers. might have to do some homemade arch rolling to fit them in with how low the car is.
