Title: Can anyone recommend a vag garage near Stafford and its surroundings
Post by: bamfish89 on 14 May 2014, 15:51
Hi all

I'm just wondering if anyone could recommend a vag garage near Stafford and its surrounding that could diagnose why my abf runs like poop at low revs but yet when driven hard and once its up the revs its perfect?

I'm getting a bit sik of just throwing money at it and not knowing whats going on lol

i have brought a code reader but its showing no codes.

it never used to tick over but it turned out the isv was stuck shut inside so i cleaned it out and now it ticks over all be it a bit rough.  ive changed the coil. the dizzy cap and rotor arm. the dizzy itself. temp sensor in the block below the dizzy but only tried with an old spare one. changed the ht leads. tried unplugging the lambda. had both plugs to the throttle body re wired as they were burnt and broken. took my ecu apart and checked the internal vac pipe.

i just want it on the road now for the summer and im stuck so any help will be greatly appreacheted

cheers

i don't really want to go to them as they didn't do a very good job on my mums car a few years back. had to have the whole thing rewired. cost so much money to sort.
so id prefer to go somewhere else. thanks tho bud
