Hi guys,
Really need some advice on my mk4 golf, while attempting to fit a front mounted intercooler I put a hole in what I think is turbo air pipe. It's the rubber pipe that connects from airbox to the dump valve and onto either the engine or turbo I am not 100% sure...
I pulled the pipe off and found what seems to be some sort of lip inside it which is now all bent out of shape and I can't get the rest of the rubber our from the pipe..
Any advice would be fantastic, I have a funny feeling that i may have causes some serious damage trying to remove the damaged pipe from where it was fitted.
1. How can I remove the broken and bent lip inside this pipe and is there any tutorials anywhere as to how to remove it..
Many thanks
Dave

That is indeed your T.I.P (well broken now)the clip can be removed and hose replaced but as standard vw fit they have the alloy piece going onto your turbo inlet secured with a 10mm headed bolt iirc, that tip on your car is now Fcuked! and you will need to replace it not the best of jobs to do but is do-able so now you have this to fit as well as your fmic  This may help http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-2000-VW-MK4-GOLF-AUDI-A3-1-8T-INLET-BOOST-HOSE-k03-turbo-AGU-/200958738204?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Plat_Gen%3AMK+IV%7CModel%3AGolf&hash=item2eca12ff1c

thanks for the info. I have just had the car collected by a freind who has a garage. decided i would just let them fix it and fit the fmic and coilovers while they are at it.. thanks for the advice much appreciated and i shall post a update when its all fitted up :)

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus.. lol
It looks like jaws had a go at getting that off, take it that's a K03 turbo? what size piping is that for the intercooler because you will probably get huge lag on a K03 rather than a K03s
-
Fit a sillicone tip on instead. You will get better airflow to the turbo.

Update...
FMIC now fitted. Decided to order some samco hose kits and just replace as many as i can.. Still waiting on delivers..
Coilovers also now fitted. With some spaces on the rear and my new RS4 Wheels it should look rather nice, when i can afford to put some rubber on them.
thanks for the advice. i has to replace the Turbo inlet pipe too as i totaly broke the bolt holding it on..!!

All sorted then, try not to break anything else when fitting   not a fan of side exit exhausts cough **chavvy** but your golf etc imo go with a discreet miltek or 4mo style or anni type system or any other decent make but ditch that side exit

Will do my best to not break anthing else. But i can't promiss it lol. cheers for the advice guys.. appriciated!
