Title: Turbo or boost fault?
Post by: Tezmax on 05 May 2014, 22:05
Is my Turbo on its way out as when boosting up through 2nd and third i feel it loosing boost for a split second then picks up ok.

In top gear its alot more noticeable, like 50/50 boost no boost.

I have no fault codes.

Are these poorly turbo symptons or should i be be looking at other things...

Thanks for support in advance.

cmon guys,
got a problem and only get one hit!

(thx Rio) wouldn't a N75 issue throw up a fault code? but will put it on the replace list.

Anymore ideas regulars?

I have this problem apart from my car throws the fault code
00575 - Intake Manifold Pressure
            08-10 - Control Limit Surpassed - Intermittent

I have replaced the n75 valve too and that didn't make any difference

I have a Forge 007p which i cleaned and greased up when i first got issues but didn't make any difference.
I have a standard DV i can swap to see if it helps coz thats an easy 5min job.

Thx Brew.

Changed the N75 and swapped my recirculating valve but made no difference.

I now get next to no boost in 4th and 5th, it almost feels like its in limp mode?

Anymore ideas?

Thanks.
