Title: starting issues

car wont start when hot, turns over but wont fire up ive changed the temp sensor and crank sensor also no fault codes, but couple of minutes later it will start any ideas what it could be a massive help cheers also its a 2.0 thanks

Funny thing is mine did that on my 2.0 to come bk from work at 2 in morning stuck in some 24 hour garage as come out and it started straight away i changed my starter motor and no problems at all mate works and starts everytime hot or cold

Yeah mate it did grinding noise to a loud squel noise

Deffo starter motor I'd say mate if you get one from euro car parts they take ya old back with £25 for it so they can refurbish it just in case you didn't know that

It's cool mate just thought I'd give someone some advise not cheap though tbh I got mine for £90 but blimey it's worth it as mine was sparking to didn't realise it was till my mate said he saw sparks

No fault codes come up on mine either would of thought they would but yeah deffo change it trust it will be sound then

Cheers mate will get it changed straight away or let the next owner do it as ive just bought a mapped 1.8t but ill probs do it lol
