Title: R Click alarm system for Mk3
Post by: Elios_l on 03 May 2014, 15:42
I bought an Rclick alarm for my Mk3. I have wired everything except for the total closure wire and the positive and negative triggers for the doors. Does anybody know how to do this? My alarm came with a relay but Rclick are useless as is the diagram they sent me as i have no idea what the corresponding wires need to hook up to on the car itself!

I got it from Rclick. Asked them for a a wiring diagram specifically for the Mk3 and heard nothing :( I would buy the lead but pretty much everything is wired now apart from total close and the door triggers.

The door trigger wires would go to the pin switches in the door shut.. if that's what you are asking!

Cheers Benrevs do these pin switches have a specific wire colour? The main thing i am looking to find out is how to wire up total closure. i already have the central locking wired no problem but i cant get the total closure on the windows / sunroof to work. I have a wire from the alarm system but don't know where i need to hook it up to.

They are switched earth so would assume brown.  Iirc When I did mine (different system, same principals) I just connected them on the actual door pin switches.
There is a thread just below this about total closure on the R click systems. I believe he solved it so could message him
