Title: will a vacuum advance dizzy fit my 8v pb engine gti??

got sent an vaccum advance dizzy. will it fit my 91 gti??
 i need my car back by friday!!

I'd say not. I've no idea whether or not it will bolt up but the ecu uses a signal from the hall sender on the correct dizzy.

would a mk3 dizzy work as i know theres a couple in the local scrappy

Mk3 (2e) dizzy has a different drive on it so wouldn't even fit, the plug is the same though.
