Title: So i just heard a Gti 53 plate go past me with what sounded like a Dump Valve

What is this wizardry? Is it just a Forge FMCL007P Recirculating Dump Valve?

It might be a blow off valve or a forge split r valve

What's the best option then?

Also about to get a Remap as i've heard i'll get more MPG? Will that help the sound?

You wont get more MPG, while it wont affect the MPG that much it will seem to be more thirsty because you will put your foot down more

When I bought my car, the guy before me had the forge 007p valve installed purely as a dump valve, so it may be the same case with that car
