Quoted 275 with revo and made 270 on the day, happy with that :D!

No offence but that is not a smooth looking torque curve :undecided:
How does it feel on the road? Can you feel that dip at 3500rpm??
-
That torque curve doesn't seem right at all. It shouldn't drop that quick and it shouldn't really drop below 150Ft Lbs
Also, did it wheel spin at 3500 rpm or something?
-
It should look something like this. (The pink and grey line) Taking into the account for NM to Ft-Lbs

Did the tuner not mention anything about the huge drop off in torque?
-
Not really up on my figures and graphs sorry :( guy said there was quite a drop off but that may be bacause of the very restrictive downpipe, think stage 2 holds the boost all the way to the red?
Any info/knowledge welcome tho :)
-
Well in your graph you see the torque drop off at a really crazy speed and drops to a very low amount.
Looking at the graph i posted, Revo stage 1 should drop at a slower rate. In the graph you see it drop to about 280 N*m which is approx 205 Ft-Lbs. Your actually drop below 100 ft-lbs.
TBH i have never seen it drop off like that. The OEM downpipe is a bit restrictive (best to knock out the Pre-cat - give you approx 5bhp extra as well) but no way would it cause such a drop.
Stage 1 needs, nor requires any other mods (ie downpipe) so you should be getting close to my above graph.
Either that guys machine is incorrect or you have a problem with your car. But seems very strange as you made correct Bhp at the correct rev range....

This is what my stage 2 map looks like, if this is any help

I think it might be the fueling, a guy at work had a golf r revo map and got the switch to apr and now it's running a lot smoother, maybe the same thing? I'm happy with it for now until I get more money for more power!

Dont think that will be it mate, many on here including myself have REVO, and it pulls like a train

@ RocketRoss - you are looking at the BHP axis not torque
Torque looks ok but its the rate at which it drops off along with the peaks and troughs in the mid range
Does it feel smooth or jerky on the road??
-
Feels very smooth and the torque is aggressive but not lumpy at all
-

@ Rhyso -I was saying the torque looks off and lumpy not the BHP, bhp curve looks fine.

Then it may well just be the dyno operator not doing his job properly and the car possibly not strapped down fully :undecided:
Do you have another dyno local to you? Be interesting to see how it performs on that one
-
Ooops, yeah my bad.
-
I was thinking of changing to apr soon and they hav a local tuner with a rr so will get back to you with stage 2 figures there :)
-
The graph is in lb/ft and the torque doesn't drop below 150lb/ft, at 5500 rpm it still has 255 lb/ft of torque? am I not seeing something I'm a little confused here?

It was Ross who was getting confused
The curve should look a lot smoother than that though :undecided:
-
was this at andrew gallachers place
-
Agreed the graph looks a little lumpy maybe that's just the operator on the rollers or the bolting down? all in I'm pretty pleased another boy with a stage 2 mk5 only got 250 so I'm
Not as disappointed as that :P
