Title: Halfords says D2S bulbs. Do I have HIDs?

The Halfords bulb guide reckons my dipped bulbs are D2S. (I have a 2001 GTI).

Do I have HIDs then?

As Wez says, those are not projector headlights.

Cheers for the replies everyone.

I fitted some +120% H7s in today. Hopefully that will give the standard lighting a boost.

Although getting them in was a PITA.
