Title: keyless boot handle
Post by: AD1.8T on 24 April 2014, 18:36
Hello all this is a bit vague but have any of you installed a boot handle off of a t5? Basically the same as ours but without the key hole so looks nice and semetrical (how ever you spell it) !

nope, but i have seen a picture of a mk4 golf (white) with rline rear and a smoothed boot which i just thought had the hole for the lock welded.

did look nice, sure youv all seen it,  will post later on tonight if you want an idea of what it looks like.

Found this but its a caddy handle not a t5 facelift one.  http://uk-mkivs.net/topic/85015-2012-caddy-t5-facelift-hatch-handle-retrofit/

That would be good if it works, no recent updates though

I always think it is best to leave the boot lock, can be a handy way in if the doors will not unlock etc.

Trouble with the MK4 is they rust and corrode so are useless anyway
