Yeah I saw that. Yet another dreamer

My anni was in that condition with 100 on it, paid £900. Seen loads of mk3s for sale lately that are at enormously overpriced
-
£3.5k
Looking on ebay the lowest is £1795  Both of mine have f.s.h (the blue one is very very comprehensive!) and once restored (blue is going for paint in a few weeks) I am looking for an insurance agreed value of £2k and even that is what I think over valued!
-
Way overpriced and what is it with the writing on the advert.

This is true. And I don't think this is a bad thing for us Mk3 owners. I remember a time when Mk2's were around a grand for semi decent examples but now they command much higher prices. The more Mk3's sell for £2-3k the better I say. It pushes the value of the good ones up.

exactly. correct me if im wrong but a little while ago it seemed like everyone was complaining that their mk3 was worthless and complaining about the low value, but the more people who can/try to sell at a higher price the more it pushes up the rest of them. people always laughing at people trying to sell them for more but its kinda doing everyone a favour?
-
I agree but there is asking a higher price and asking a ridiculous dreamer price
-
What annoys me, considering the mk3's worst enemy is rust, i've rarely seen anyone list details on how good or bad their mk3 is underneath. This is what ultimately dictates value regardless of how it looks on the surface.

Sellers should remove all trim then take pictures and advertise

Haha, my ends need a little bit of work done to them. Just relieved that is all
