Im picking up a spoiler for my mk4 but its black and my car is indigo what the best way to strip it and prep it for me to respray it my colour

Same as your alloys, but don't use aggressive sand paper use fine wet and dry :)

ive got etch primer for my alloys can I use this primer for the spoiler or do I need a different kind of primer

Take it to your local body shop. Mine only charged me £50 for a spoiler....

I contacted my local body shop and they want £100 ive given it 1 coat today gonna give it another thinker coat tomorrow how long is best to leave it before applying the lacquer

Lacquer should be applied within 1 hour after the last coat of paint

thanks thom didn't know that about the lacquer how many coats of lacquer will need applying
