Hi all.Just wondering if it's possible to change a pair of front seats from a 5 door so they tilt forward like the 3 door one's do ?.If so what parts do i need from the 3 door seats and if poss,what's involved.

Sorry,i should have explained !.
I have a colour concept,3 door,front seats are o.k. but show their age.Iv'e found a set of very tidy fronts from a 5 door so i need to change them into 3 door type.
I don't want to butcher my original seats as i have a plan !. :grin:

quite easy to swap offer ,bottom base are the same just swap foams from 5 to 3 door as they have the lifting cables to tilt forward should take u more than 40 mins to do done loads in the past ... :smug: :wink: :smiley:

done once myself when I swapped driver's seat base for height adjustable one....

As above, if the colour concept seats are expensive you might want to look at just getting your current ones re trimmed in brand new leather. It's cheaper than you'd expect :) and they look brand spankers

Or, get a "passenger" seat from Germany. Which would be your driver seat. As for my Passenger seat (Colour concept) it looks brand new.
Hope i made some sense :P (you have left hand traffic, rest of europe have right hand traffic)
