Title: golf mk3 2.0 litre automatic 1997 stalls when turning left or over bumps

hi,im new here  :smiley:
recently bought a golf mk 3 1997 r reg 2.0 automatic convertable for my wife.  i new it had some issues when i bought it but the the car stalls when turning left, and over some bumps. if i stop before turning left then its fine. checked most obvious things but its doing my head in now, had anouther mechanic look at it but still doing the same thing,  hope someone can help with this before i set fire to it lol, cheers guys
